What truly sets Haven Hollow apart is that we only use pure form heirloom seeds – all bred from the original seed, never genetically altered. We use only natural fertilizers such as manure and compost, and never use pesticides or insecticides. We eat what we grow and sell the rest at an affordable rate. On most Sunday afternoons from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, we play host to Market Days – where guests can shop for fresh produce. See arts & crafts as well as useful products that are produced from our bamboo grove. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome YOU to our farm!
Master Herbalist, Michael Tackett
A cancer survivor and military veteran, Mike is devoted to giving back to others. Having discovered the awesome power of natural remedies more than two decades ago during a painful bout with kidney stones, he received his certification as a Master Herbalist through the Trinity School of Natural Health. Just as he encourages his clients to pursue the best life they can achieve, he continually seeks to grow his understanding of the natural world and its benefits through continuing education. Not satisfied with the prospect of simply serving as a producer and supplier of natural remedies, he endeavors to pass his knowledge on to his clients through one-on-one consultations and educational seminars. One-on-one consultations and health assessments lead to customized treatments, designed specifically for the individual and whatever systems of the body that need to be addressed. Mike’s greatest joy comes from seeing people healed. His scope is larger than merely addressing symptoms – he is seeking a better understanding of whatever ails his clients.
